As part of a statewide blitz, Caesar Rodney Institute, Citizens for Delaware Schools, No Left Turn in Education, and Moms for Liberty to host “The Save Our Schools Town Hall” in each county on April 18th, 19th, and 20th. With School Board Elections held on May 9th, these community town halls will allow people to share their concerns, ask questions and learn about the issues from education and our public schools. The meeting is free and open to the public.
The “Save Our Schools Town Halls” will examine four issues vital to fixing our failing school system: Academic Achievement, Parental Rights, School Safety, and Funding. The S.O.S. town hall features a panel of experts who will address attendees and answer questions. The panels will include Dr. Tanya Hettler from the Caesar Rodney Institute, Julia Zammith from the Rodel Foundation, Dr. Elana Fishbein, CEO of NO LEFT TURN, Inc., and Sen. Charles Postles.
There will be one town hall held in each county:
- Kent County - April 18 at Modern Maturity Center - 1121 Forrest Ave, Dover
- Sussex County - April 19 at Sussex Central High School - 26026 Patriots Way, Georgetown
- New Castle County - April 20 at Aetna Fire Hall - 410 Ogletown Rd, Newark
