The Caesar Rodney Institute is a non-profit research and education organization dedicated to the measured improvement in the quality of life, the degree of individual liberty, and opportunity for personal fulfillment for all Delawareans. Mr. Barrett Kidner, CRI Chairman and CEO, recently elected a new member to the CRI board of directors; Mr. Joseph J. Oddo.
 
Mr. Oddo is a recognized thought leader and an information technology professional with a record of implementing business strategy and IT solutions on a Delaware and national level. In 2001, Mr. Oddo joined Solstice Software, Inc. of Delaware as President and CEO to lead an effort to secure outside funding which he successfully completed. Today he continues to serve developing companies primarily in the IT Services space. Prior to his work with Solstice, he founded Northfield Associates, a middle-market business development group serving the Technology and Managed Healthcare sectors. Mr. Oddo also served as Senior Vice President of Merck/Medco where he worked to acquire and integrate candidate companies into Medco's two publicly traded subsidiaries, Medical Marketing Group and Synetic Corporation. He was, simultaneously, Senior Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Medical Marketing and a member of the Board of Directors of Telerx Corporation.
